August 30, 2016 (Atlanta) - After a C+ series in Miami, the Padres ended August by traveling to legendary Turner Field in Atlanta to take on the Braves.  Edwin Jackson started against Braves ace Julio Teheran.

August 27, 2016 (Miami) - After a heartbreaking loss last night, the Padres had it in mind not to give up a huge lead ever again.  We’ll see how well that went with Clayton Richard on the mound against Jose Urena for the Marlins.

August 24, 2016 (San Diego) - The Padres are facing the winningest team in baseball and they’re trying to avoid being swept.  Not the best situation, but they do what they can.  Another ace Cubs pitcher was on the mound in Kyle Hendricks; he started against Paul Clemens for San Diego.

August 18, 2016 (San Diego) – After an absolutely dismal series against the AL East, the Padres were ready to return home to Petco Park to face the Diamondbacks.  Paul Clemens started on the mound for San Diego against Archie Bradley for Arizona.

August 16, 2016 (Tampa Bay) - The Padres couldn’t beat a struggling Rays team last night and hoped for a better result tonight with Edwin Jackson on the mound against Blake Snell for the Rays.

August 14, 2016 (New York) – If you think you’re tired on work days, the Padres had to play a 10:10 a.m. game after playing an extra innings battle last night.  Clayton Richard started on the mound for San Diego against Steven Matz for New York.

August 12, 2016 (New York) - For their second stop in their tour of the East coast, the Padres left Pittsburgh and headed to New York for a weekend series with the Mets.  Paul Clemens took the mound in Friday night’s game against Logan Verrett for the Mets.

August 10, 2016 (Pittsburgh) - The Padres were pillaged by the Pirates last night.  They hoped to avoid walking the plank tonight with Edwin Jackson on the mound against Ryan Vogelsong, who recently returned from the disabled list.
