December 18, 2012 (El Cajon ) – Vintage cars festooned in lights rolled down Main Street in El Cajon last week for the city’s first Parade of Lights. The celebration continued at Prescott Promenade Park, where members of the San Diego Costume Guild garbed in Victorian attire—as well as some attractive Santa’s helpers, mingled with the crowd, evoking images of Christmas past and present.

March 9, 2011 (El Cajon)--The 2011 season of the Cajon Classic Cruise has added additional shows, theme nights and will start a month earlier than previously announced.
“Cajon Classic Cruise will roll out 31 shows in 2011, nearly double the number of shows presented last year," said Kathryn Courter of the El Cajon Community Development Corporation, which organizes the annual downtown El Cajon car show.

June 2, 2010 (La Mesa) - -Participants are revving up for La Mesa’s “Back to the ‘50s” car show, which will be held every Thursday night in June, July and August. The event takes place from 5 to 8 p.m. on La Mesa Boulevard in the downtown village of La Mesa. Cruising in classic cars (pre-1973) is encouraged!
