REMEMBRANCE WALK HONORS MEMORY OF EL CAJON COMMUNITY LEADER

 

October 30, 2010 (El Cajon) -- Twenty family members and friends participated in the LightBridge Foundation Second Annual Remembrance Walk in memory of their recently departed patriarch, Juan Salas, most recently of El Cajon. He was active member in the Chamorro (Guamanian) community in San Diego and served as President of the Sons and Daughters of Guam Club ifor two terms.

SCAM ARTIST TARGETS DONORS AT SAN DIEGO HOSPICE AND GROSSMONT HOSPITAL

A woman posing as a nurse or medical employee has been approaching people outside Grossmont Hospital, San Diego Hospice and other locations to request donations or money for a ride, according to Hospice representatives.  Numerous area residents have been burned by the scam.
